Our History

KSB Law LLP has been providing legal services for over 150 years to private individuals and commercial clients. We are very proud of our history:

• The firm of Kingsfords can be traced back to the 1790s
• In 1859 Mr H Dorman joined the firm which became known as Kingsford Dorman & Co
• In 1945 Kingsford Dorman & Co moved to Lincoln's Inn, having acquired the firm of Hale Ringrose & Morrow
• Messrs Routh & Co and Messrs Varden & Caulfield, both established in the 1880s, had by 1962 merged to become Routh Stacey Cronin Vardon & Caulfield
• In 1987 Kingsford Dorman merged with Routh Stacey to become Kingsford Dorman and Routh Stacey
• Ten years later in 1997 the firm, now known as Kingsford Stacey, merged with Booth & Blackwell to become Kingsford Stacey Blackwell
• The firm was renamed KSB Law on 26 June 2003
• KSB Law became KSB Law LLP in December 2005
